AirVenture 2009

We are proposing a History and Future of Missionary Aviation near Aero Shell Square.

AirVenture 2009 will feature Missionary Aviation and Humanitarian Aviation. As of June 2009, approximately 36 organizations are committed to participate. 35 Missionary airplanes are also planing to be a part of the display. We will have a main display tent with the movie version of Nate Saint's ruined plane sitting on a sand beach with some large photos as a backdrop to suggest the original setting on Palm Beach. Around the rest of the tent we will have similar large photos (8' high) of missionary planes and situations, telling the story of mission aviation. Each small group of visitors will progress through the displays, listening to the tour guide explain the history of missionary aviation.

This will be the largest collection of missionary aviators and missionary planes in history.
