Welcome
Fly4Life 2009
What a spectacular event. Our
sincerest thanks to everyone who provided a bed, a meal, a car, pick-up
and delivery to airports, ran errands – you helped in so many ways.
You are what make MASA work. Hats off to you all!
How do we top Fly4Life and EAA Air Venture 2009? This was the topic of discussion among MASA and IAMA members.
We think of what Henry Blackaby teaches
in his Experiencing God study. Watch for where God is working
and join Him there. The study encourages us to “experience”
God. Don’t carry on in your own strength but join God where
you see Him at work. We believe God was moving in a mighty way
at the EAA this year. Even though our numbers were quadrupled
from the previous years, it was an organized and well structured event.
We saw numerous miracles. We were blessed!
The clarion cry seems to be – don’t
retreat – don’t go back. Rather keep moving forward with the
high quality and number of organizations involved.
What does that look like for 2010? We don’t know for sure. The organizations don’t believe they can afford to send as many personnel or aircraft next year. However, everyone wants to be involved. We expect that will be about 250 people.
We have received positive feedback from the churches about the speakers they heard from. We’ve also received good reports from the mission agencies and the contacts they made.
